STUDIO SPACE AT THE HEART OF THE NORTHERN FILM INDUSTRY
The Northern Ontario Film Studios (NOFS) is situated in Sudbury – the heart of the film and television industry in Northern Ontario. With unmatched access to a wide variety of locations, production equipment housed on site and a secure and flexible studio space unlike anything north of Toronto, NOFS is the perfect base of operations for shooting any film or television production in the region.
NOFS - Sudbury has access to a variety of local services, perfect for sourcing your entire production. It is located 20 minutes from the airport, and less than a 10 minute drive from several hotels and the city core.
NOFS - North Bay offers two locations in the city core which houses a large set/props warehouse, production offices, costume/wardrobe holding and lock up in each location. Both facilities can easily accommodate two film and television productions running simultaneously.
NOFS - North Bay also offers a backlot located 20 minutes south of North Bay. The NOFS - Backlot encompasses a full turn of the century, early 1900’s town - showcasing both full buildings and facades. The landscape, with rolling fields and dense forests, boasts both a visual and practical appeal, providing a 360-degree shooting opportunity for the filmmaker.
NOFS has everything necessary to service a wide range of production needs across Northern Ontario. Our various spaces can be tailored to any project, big or small.
